With a primary interest in directing, Kat has worked across mediums & artistic platforms to generate creative content, with an emphasis in collaboration.

Epinephrine: nominated for Toronto Experimental Film Festival 2018
a millennial girl influenced by internet age influences is absorbed in queer beauty, but experiences a visceral response to addiction. The dance moves us through the experience of adolescence through tumblr, largely influenced by tumblr aesthetic and culture.
Gay Basher: Senior Thesis film (post-production)
a transwoman vigilante bashes back at bigoted
cops and sexual harassment, written in response to local experience with protests in the St. Louis community (Ferguson & Stockley Verdict).
Processed Noise - a musician biopic, Those - a whimsical abstract graphic effect piece, Paint - a feminist art therapy commentary, Hacking the Galaxy - a sci-fi fiction podcast (see Youtube)
In academic settings, Kat often marries directorial works with producing to secure project completion.
Their upcoming project - PokéMusical - is a Pokemon musical attached with dreams to direct and produce, and already a co-authorship credit.

along with PokéMusical, Kat has also lent creative production experience to start a Performing Arts Collective with the interest of producing a gender-bent Heathers the Musical to reflect LGBTQ+ social themes.
They have two pending treatments of a queer Spring Awakening and Grease eagerly waiting for a production.

With a strong background in performance, Kat has used these experiences to color and inform their technical experiences.
They have continued to pursue performance in series, short film, and live performance in theater.

SERVICE
Kat spends extra time developing practical and technical skills such as:
Assistant Director, Assistant Camera, Production Assistant, Grip, Editing, Second AC, Sound & Slate, set building, light board operation (theater), and stage management

Kat also worked for over a year in Student Government, is a Title IX advocate and resource, and works on LGBTQ+ initiatives. Wrote for Odyssey.
Kat is excited to be exploring legal practice in building exoneration cases for wrongfully convicted women.
